Job summary

Nisga'a Tek, LLC in the United States seeks a Squadron Aircrew Scheduler to develop and maintain long-range scheduling for aircrew and support personnel. The role focuses on prioritizing tankers and agile combat employment operations while coordinating with wing leadership.

The position requires a Secret Clearance and at least two years of squadron scheduler experience, including familiarity with PEX or similar scheduling systems. Strong communication and multitasking skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Secret Clearance or previously held Secret Clearance which has expired (not revoked).
• Must possess a minimum of two (2) years of experience working as a squadron aircrew scheduler.
• Must possess a minimum of two (2) years of experience working with PEX or similar proprietary scheduling program.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive long-range scheduling system including, but not limited to, the prioritization of tankers and agile combat employment operations.
• Collaborate with operational units to align long-term mission planning with organizational objectives.
• Ensure optimization of resources and strategic alignment with broader tenant units and AFRC/ANG units and AFGSC goals.
• Analyze historical mission data to enhance future planning.
• Generate detailed reports for Operations Group leadership to inform decision-making.
• Provide training to Operational Group personnel on utilizing the long-range scheduling system.
• Build long and short-range schedules to ensure full coverage of aircrew, instructor, evaluator, support personnel, and supervisor positions.
• Coordinate with senior squadron, group, and/or wing leadership on a daily and weekly basis to facilitate flying operations.
• Keep track of leaves, temporary duty, medical appointments, or other scheduling commitments, and deconflict crewmember schedules.
• Track daily flight/ground/academic training requirements and accomplishments to facilitate accurate flight scheduling.
• Update data in Patriot Excalibur (PEX) and locally-developed database systems as required.
• Schedule aircrews based on experience to mitigate Operational Risk Management.
• Report updates to squadron, group, and wing leadership.
• Facilitate last-minute schedule changes to ensure full coverage with current leadership.
• Obtain aircraft and equipment availability data for training, exercises, simulators, and operations.
• Publish/post scheduling data for unit long/short-range schedules on PEX or other database systems.
• Comply with guidance when building the schedule.
• Determine schedule requirements for upgrade, initial qualification, requalification, transition, currency, and continuation training.
