Job summary

Mersino Dewatering Incorporated is seeking a Fleet Manager to oversee purchasing, receipt and allocation of fleeted equipment across the organization. You will forecast equipment needs, manage the vehicle fleet rental program, and ensure inventory accuracy at all branch locations.

Responsibilities include reviewing purchase requests, coordinating with Global Pump, driving DOT compliance, developing metrics, and training branch staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics Management or a related field.
• 5+ years of senior level management experience.
• Experience creating fleet policies, DOT regulations, and vehicle lifecycle processes.
• Experience in price, spec, and purchase or lease of vehicles.
• Strong planning, organizational and budgeting skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and related PC software.

Responsibilities

• Forecast equipment needs with Regional/Branch Managers and maintain inventory levels.
• Oversee vehicle fleet rental program; manage ordering, distribution and allocation of vehicles.
• Analyze ROI and utilization; reallocate assets to maximize utilization.
• Coordinate equipment needs for national/environmental trenching projects.
• Develop and publish metrics to measure ROI and performance; distribute reports.
