Job summary

Pomp's Tire Service in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Fleet Development Manager to lead strategic fleet programs and coordinate with the service department for fleet maintenance scheduling. You will manage current strategic accounts, recruit with external vendors, and drive fleet service excellence across multiple locations.

You will develop relationships with local and regional fleet managers, perform cost/benefit analyses, and identify opportunities to expand market share while ensuring compliance

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of heavy truck or fleet mechanical experience.
• Valid driver's license; CDL preferred; ability to operate manual/automatic vehicles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
• Experience with MaddenCo and BASys for sales and manufacturing reports, or willingness to learn.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage 'Program' business for Strategic Accounts by scheduling fleet service appointments and coordinating with the service department.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle problems and plan repairs.
• Ensure compliance of Fleet Programs at Pomp's locations and customer terminals.
• Assist fleets in managing expectations per fleet metrics and provide cost/benefit analyses.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local and regional fleet managers.
• Increase sales opportunities within assigned fleets and make cold calls to grow market share.
• Manage data collection activities for fleets, including fleet surveys and tire inspections.
