Job summary

Alliance College-Ready Public Schools is seeking a Director, Fiscal Strategy to lead procurement, compliance, and fiscal policy across its network. You will supervise the procurement team, partner with school and Home Office leaders, and drive data-driven decisions to improve controls and performance.

Responsibilities include managing audits, contract renewals, and policy updates while providing training and support.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive professional work experience in Finance, Operations, or Accounting with a Bachelor’s Degree or higher
• 6+ years of progressive professional work experience in Finance, Operations, or Accounting with a high school diploma or equivalent (e.g. GED)
• Experience supervising, coaching, or mentoring staff
• Strong project management and data analysis skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

Responsibilities

• Provide data-driven department leadership and strategic procurement vision.
• Lead cross-functional compliance projects including annual contract renewals and policy reviews.
• Manage the nine-month Fiscal Oversight auditing process with external auditors and stakeholders.
• Develop and implement policies, resources, and training to support compliance across Alliance.
• Provide implementation support and coaching in collaboration with the Operations Team.
