The Medical University of South Carolina’s Department of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery seeks a Fiscal Analyst III to provide advanced financial analysis and operational support across clinical, research, education, and administrative missions.

Under supervision, this role develops financial plans, budgets, and forecasts; creates models and dashboards; monitors performance; and ensures compliance with university and MUHA policies.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree and four years of professional experience in accounting, auditing, finance or related area.
• A job-related bachelor’s degree with accounting courses may substitute for two years of experience.

Aufgaben

• Monitor, forecast, and analyze departmental revenues and expenditures.
• Develop financial models and scenario analyses for new programs and operational initiatives.
• Prepare financial projections, trend analyses, and KPIs for leadership decision-making.
• Analyze monthly budget-to-actual variances and identify financial risks and opportunities.
• Design dashboards, scorecards, and reports communicating financial performance to leadership.
• Support year-end close, budget reconciliation, and fiscal planning activities.
