Job summary

PPG, a global coatings leader, seeks a Finished Good Planner to manage finished goods supply planning using Oracle ASCP, balancing demand, inventory, capacity, and constraints to support service while optimizing working capital.

You will collaborate with Production Scheduling, Operations, Customer Service, and Raw Material Planning at the Springdale, PA site, reporting to the Supply Chain Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, Inventory Planning, Production Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, or related operations.
• Experience with MRP/ERP or advanced planning systems (Oracle ASCP, Oracle EBS, SAP or similar).
• Strong understanding of supply and demand planning, inventory management and planning parameters.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency to analyze large datasets and translate findings into actions.
• APICS/ASCM CPIM or CSCP certification, IBP/S&OP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own finished goods supply planning for assigned products using ASCP, reviewing demand, planned orders and inventory.
• Translate demand, forecasts and planning parameters into actionable production and supply requirements.
• Balance service, inventory, capacity, lead times and constraints while identifying shortages and risks.
• Partner with Production Scheduling and Operations to convert requirements into executable plans.
• Manage finished goods inventory and planning parameters to optimize service and working capital.
• Recommend production, inventory and transfer actions to resolve imbalances across locations.
• Serve as a key Supply Chain contact for Customer Service with timely communication on availability and recovery plans.
• Analyze planning and inventory performance, perform root cause analysis and support IBP and continuous improvement.
