Job summary

Bank of America in Connecticut is hiring for a financial advisor role focused on delivering comprehensive advice and customized solutions to clients. You will triage leads, refer to partners, and meet with clients to review goals and build financial plans with brokerage products.

Licenses and training are required, including SAFE Act considerations for mortgage-related work. Responsibilities include planning financial goals, recommending strategies, managing referrals, and coaching partners

Qualifications

• Current holds Series 7 and 66 licenses; if 66 is missing but 63 or 65 is held, offer may be extended with passing score within 60 days.
• Minimum of one year of investment industry experience and knowledge of investment products and services.
• Minimum of one year in financial services or a sales environment with goals met or exceeded.
• Demonstrates ability to set and achieve goals, build relationships and communicate confidently.

Responsibilities

• Works with clients to plan their short and long-term financial goals by building a financial plan with brokerage products, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, and banking solutions.
• Recommends banking and investments strategies that align with client goals and needs.
• Triages client requests and makes referrals to internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds.
• Mitigates and controls risk as part of daily activities.
• Identifies and engages potential new clients through referrals or center clientele.
• Provides coaching and feedback to referral partners based on client needs and product services recommended.
