Job summary

cps4jobs is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to oversee the organization’s financial reporting activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of internal and external reports. You will partner with the Corporate Controller, VP of Finance, and cross-functional leaders to deliver meaningful financial insights.

The role encompasses overseeing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting, maintaining controls, and driving improvements across reporting processes.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS standards.
• Experience preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Ability to coordinate with external auditors and internal accounting teams.
• Experience leading FP&A, Tax, Treasury and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Manage the preparation and distribution of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Coordinate financial reporting activities across business units, subsidiaries, and other reporting entities.
• Ensure financial statements comply with GAAP/IFRS and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting processes to meet deadlines.
• Analyze financial results and explain variances vs budgets and forecasts.
• Maintain and enhance financial reporting procedures and supporting documentation.
• Review GL activity, reconciliations, journal entries, and balance sheet schedules for accuracy.
• Coordinate with external auditors and internal accounting staff to handle audit requests.
• Research technical accounting matters and assess implications of new standards.
• Develop reporting improvements to increase efficiency and consistency.
• Prepare financial reporting packages and presentations for leadership.
• Monitor internal controls and identify opportunities to strengthen processes.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and Operations to gather financials.
• Support statutory filings and external reporting deliverables.
• Assist with acquisition accounting and due diligence processes.
• Identify opportunities to streamline reporting through automation.
• Mentor and develop financial reporting staff.
