Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in business administration, finance, higher education administration or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Expert knowledge of organizational processes, protocols and procedures.
• Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP , GASB , financial accounting/general ledger experience and their application to fund accounting.
• Considerable technical knowledge of various Accounting Software, ERP systems.
• Strong ability to analyze complex business processes and manage projects effectively.
• Strong accounting and finance skills to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, identify financial trends, investigate discrepancies, and provide insights that support decision-making.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and influence.
• Experience collaborating across diverse teams to lead projects and build consensus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of financial reporting tools and processes.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting and analysis.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement or concern.
• Assist in the preparation, review and/or analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Collaborate with departments to gather financial data and ensure compliance with reporting standards.
