Job summary

Brown & Brown is seeking a Financial Audit Manager in Roseland, NJ to lead auditing efforts across multiple programs, oversee field work, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality reports. The role requires a strong accounting background, CPA/CIA pursuits, and travel readiness to support regional activities.

The candidate will develop a deep understanding of the company’s operations, influence improvements, and guide junior staff while coordinating with regional leadership to close engagements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required; 5+ years public accounting or internal audit experience preferred.
• Pursuit of CPA or CIA and insurance designations encouraged.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills; high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review sections of audit programs for Integrated, Financial, Cash, and Financial Team Leader reviews.
• Manage day-to-day Field Work operations and track team progress to completion.
• Execute audit plans to ensure timely and accurate work; understand business operations and policies.
• Lead or participate in Closing Calls and communicate observations to leadership.
• Draft or review Audit Reports and distribute to stakeholders; perform re-tests as needed.
