Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in finance or related field.
• 2–5 years of financial or operations experience.
• Familiarity with university financial systems and GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger in GAAP compliance and perform journal entries and period-end closing.
• Monitor ledger variances and prepare journal entries to ensure expenses are recorded to correct accounts.
• Prepare annual budgets and monthly forecasts using UCPLAN; monitor variances and provide management reports.
• Prepare monthly budget-vs-actual reports and assist with financial statements and ad hoc analyses.
• Support procurement in Oracle; assist with transactions in Concur and Workday; advise on procurement policies.
