Job summary

Referment is seeking an associate for its financial analysis and reporting team with a focus on budgeting, forecasting and decision-support. The role combines financial modelling with practical data analysis to deliver decision-ready insights for leaders across a complex investment organisation.

You will develop and maintain budgeting and scenario models, produce recurring and ad hoc reports, and build dashboards and analytics tools. Collaboration across financial operations is essential.

Qualifications

• At least two years’ experience in financial analysis, data analytics or a closely related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, computer science or another relevant discipline.
• Practical strength in financial modelling and data analysis, with close attention to accuracy and detail.
• The ability to explain findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Initiative, sound problem-solving skills and an appetite for learning new concepts and tools.
• Professional discretion when working with sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain models used for budgeting, forecasting and scenario analysis.
• Produce recurring and ad hoc reports for finance and firm leadership, drawing out trends, variances and key business drivers.
• Analyse financial, operational and business data to answer questions and support decisions.
• Build and standardise dashboards, reporting frameworks and analytics tools.
• Partner with colleagues across financial operations on business questions and capability-building initiatives.
