Job summary

The Financial Analysis Senior Advisor at The Cigna Group serves as a strategic partner to the GPO Operations organization, delivering advanced financial and operational analysis, forecasts, and executive-ready models to support decision-making and growth. This role works closely with Finance, Operations, Contracting, Technology and leadership to drive insights that influence strategic choices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Analytics, or related field.
5+ years of experience in financial analysis, business analysis, operational analytics, or related experience.
Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills.
Advanced proficiency with Excel, SQL and data analysis tools.
Experience developing dashboards, reporting solutions, and performance metrics.
Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information and communicate insights to leadership.

Responsibilities

Perform advanced financial and operational analyses to support strategic decision-making.
Identify trends, risks, opportunities, and key business drivers through data-driven insights.
Develop forecasts, financial models, and business cases to support organizational initiatives.
Develop and maintain dashboards, reporting, and performance metrics that provide actionable business insights.
Monitor and analyze KPIs to evaluate organizational performance and support business planning.
Partner with GPO Operations leadership to assess business performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
