Job summary

Abbott, a global healthcare leader, is seeking a Finance/FP&A professional for its Lake Forest, IL operation within the Diagnostics division. This role supports financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and ad hoc requests to drive profitability and strategic insights for Abbott’s global business.

The candidate will gain expertise in Abbott’s product offerings, local business dynamics, and corporate strategy, while building efficient processes and tools to analyze and grow the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and 4–6 years finance/accounting experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Balance Sheet or Cash Flow reporting preferred.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to work independently and with senior management.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monthly review and analysis of Balance Sheet results compared to benchmarks and metrics.
• Managing cash flow reporting and analysis with high visibility to Sr. Management.
• Analyzing balance sheet health for the Diagnostics division.
• Developing complex financial models and supporting OEM processes.
• Prepare monthly reports for senior management and support process improvements.
