Job summary

HORIBA is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our shared services team in Salt Lake City, UT or Houston, TX. The role focuses on identifying financial risks and opportunities, performing FP&A on sales and costs, and supporting budgeting and variance analysis.

The ideal candidate will have a finance degree, strong analytical skills, SAP FI/CO experience, and proven communication abilities to present findings to leadership.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of core accounting practices and financial concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify areas of financial concern/opportunity by analyzing results and trends.
• Provide FP&A on sales, COGS, margins, and capital expenditures.
• Reconcile balances and transactions and correct data as needed.
• Prepare reports and present findings to management with recommendations.
• Assist in budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Build financial models for scenarios and ROI analysis.
• Support quarter- and year-end audits and reviews.
• Assist ERP upgrades/implementations and related projects.
