Financial Analyst

Hybrid | Salt Lake City, UT or Houston, TX

Full-Time | $95,000-$115,000

A large publicly-traded manufacturing company is seeking a Financial Analyst to support a business unit through financial planning, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making. This role partners closely with managers and leadership, providing insights, recommendations, and presentations that drive business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze financial results, trends, and variances; identify risks and opportunities.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and month-end reporting.
• Develop financial models and scenario analyses.
• Provide analysis of sales, margins, expenses, capital expenditures, and cost center spending.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for management.
• Assist with audits, SOX compliance activities, and ERP-related projects.
• Drive process improvements and reporting efficiencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance required.
• Strong financial analysis, modeling, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to leadership.
• Advanced Excel skills required.

Preferred

• Manufacturing industry experience.
• SAP FI/CO experience.
• Exposure to SOX compliance and external audits.
• Public accounting background with strong analytical skills.
