Job summary

Talentify in San Francisco is seeking a finance professional to support planning, reporting, and decision-making. The role centers on building complex financial models, budgeting and forecasting, and analyzing variances to drive improvements.

You will present insights and partner with operations while maintaining monthly and quarterly metrics. Strong Excel, Hyperion SmartView, and Anaplan skills are preferred. This is a full-time, on-site role with a competitive US salary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required.
• 2+ years of experience in finance and accounting required.
• Advanced working knowledge of Excel and other MS Office products.
• Working knowledge of Hyperion SmartView required.
• Experience in Anaplan preferred.
• Ability to present financial data concisely with visualizations when needed.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize projects and deliver key objectives timely.
• Familiarity with Balance Sheet and Income Statements.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic initiatives and business planning.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting.
• Update 12-month forecast quarterly.
• Conduct reports and analysis related to annual budget and quarterly financial metrics.
• Review P&L for variances and advise operations on opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain and report monthly and quarterly operating financial metrics.
• Contribute to month-end close process and submit journal entries.
• Special projects and other duties as required.
