Job summary

HealthPartners is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to develop, perform and manage analyses of business operations, performance metrics and financial data. This role supports budgeting, forecasting and monthly close processes while driving actionable insights for growth initiatives.

The successful candidate will design analytical reports, present to leaders, and collaborate with all levels of management to improve operational financial performance.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in finance, accounting, or business field.
• 5+ years in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem solving.
• Ability to present financial information to a non-financial audience.
• Strong Excel and modeling skills.
• Experience with accounting systems and general ledger.

Responsibilities

• Provides financial analysis, budgeting, reporting and project support to operations.
• Develops financial models and dashboards using benchmarks and productivity measures.
• Supports forecasting, long range planning and budgeting processes.
• Partners with management to provide financial guidance to business areas.
• Analyzes financial and operational data and reports to stakeholders.
• Prepares reports, proposals and recommendations for leaders.
• Assists with process improvements and financial reporting accuracy.
• Supports project management and financial alignment initiatives.
