Job summary

The Senior Financial Analyst at University of Southern California supports hospital and corporate initiatives through advanced financial analysis, budgeting, cost accounting and decision support systems. Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2-3 years accounting, financial analysis and decision support experience in a hospital or similar environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, planning and evaluation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organization and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of analyses and reports to support hospital and corporate initiatives.
• Produce monthly management reports as assigned.
• Load data extracts into cost accounting, decision support and budget software with reconciliation to source systems.
• Develop cost accounting standards and educate users on them.
• Support annual operating and capital budgeting processes and RAC capital budget approvals.
