The role supports audits, participates in orientation and events, tracks awards, verifies information, ensures compliance with federal and state guidelines, processes VA certifications, and communicates enrollment status to the VA.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• Previous financial aid experience required.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with a diverse group in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong computer skills; Microsoft Word and Excel expected; Banner knowledge helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assist Financial Aid Manager in preparing and submitting all audits.
• Participate in the financial aid portion of orientation, registration, graduation and other events as required.
• Track and monitor student awards to ensure funds are received timely.
• Follow up with students on missing or inaccurate information.
• Adhere to all Federal and State Financial Aid Guidelines.
• Process VA certifications and report enrollment status to the VA.
• Monitor student progress and document relevant certifications for VA students and Voc. Rehab.
• All other duties required by manager.
