Job summary

HawaiiUSA Federal Credit Union in Honolulu, HI seeks a Financial Advisor to guide members through complex financial decisions, including investments, retirement and estate planning, in collaboration with a Sr. Financial Advisor.

You will build long-term client relationships, analyze financial situations, and tailor strategies that align with risk tolerance and goals while recommending suitable products and maintaining compliant records.

Qualifications

• Licenses required: FINRA SIE, Series 7, 63/65/66, plus Hawaii Life and Health Insurance licenses.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration preferred.
• CFP or CFA certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supporting a Sr. Financial Advisor and their member-clients' needs, entering trades, updating records, scheduling reviews and appointments with existing clients, and following up on submitted paperwork.
• Educate clients on financial concepts and market trends to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Conduct comprehensive financial assessments to understand clients' current financial status and future goals.
• Develop personalized investment strategies incorporating mutual funds, annuities, and other financial products.
• Advise clients on retirement planning, estate planning, and risk management to ensure holistic financial security.
• Monitor financial markets and adjust client portfolios proactively to optimize returns and manage risks.
• Maintain detailed records of client interactions, financial plans, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other financial professionals to provide integrated advisory services when necessary.
