Job summary

Penske is seeking a Project Manager within Financial Operations at the Reading, PA location. The role supports ongoing analysis and major process improvements to streamline workflows while maintaining strong customer relationships with field teams and customers.

The position requires 3–5 years of project management experience, a Bachelor’s in a related field, and strong analytical and communication skills. Travel is required as necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or business-related field is required.
• 3–5 years of project management experience is required.
• Strong presentation and project management capabilities are essential.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate with stakeholders.
• Experience with accounts payable or Pcard is a plus; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage current and future Financial Operations projects and tooling enhancements.
• Oversee full life cycle of AP related processes including Pcard, Vehcap, Petty Cash, T&E and Manual AP.
• Collaborate with process owners and field teams to evaluate requirements.
• Consult with senior management on new initiatives and improvements.
• Identify and implement automated system solutions with controls.
• Ensure projects stay within scope, time, and cost constraints.
• Present final recommendations and outcomes to senior leadership.
• Institute measures to monitor AP processes and performance.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
