Job summary

CS Outsource seeks a Director of Finance & People Operations to lead both finance and HR functions in a growing organization. You will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, payroll, and HR operations, establishing strong internal controls and scalable processes.

You will partner with senior leadership to align financial performance with workforce planning, drive efficiency, and build high-performing teams that operate with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading finance or accounting functions, including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and internal controls.
• Proven track record of managing managers and overseeing departmental teams.
• Strong knowledge of HR operations: recruitment, performance management, compensation, and employee relations.
• Experience running financial and workforce processes in a growing or complex organization.
• Solid financial analysis and business reporting capabilities.
• Advanced spreadsheet skills and experience with accounting, HR, and reporting platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
• Ability to establish accountability and manage multiple functions independently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial reporting, month-end close, reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll accounting.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow planning, and financial performance reviews.
• Monitor revenue, expenses, labor costs, and profitability while maintaining internal controls.
• Establish reporting standards and streamline dashboards for senior leadership.
• Identify financial risks, investigate variances, and propose corrective actions.
• Improve financial reporting systems, data accuracy, and operating efficiency.
• Present clear financial insights and actionable recommendations to executives.
• Lead HR operations: recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding.
• Develop workforce plans aligned with business goals and staffing needs.
• Implement structured recruitment processes, role scorecards, and hiring targets.
• Oversee payroll, benefits, leave management, and compliance.
• Develop performance evaluation systems and career development plans.
• Monitor HR metrics such as time-to-fill, retention, and turnover.
• Support compensation frameworks and progression criteria.
