Job summary

Wolters Kluwer’s Legal & Regulatory US division seeks an Associate Director, Financial Planning, to lead and oversee strategic FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. The role partners with the Divisional CEO, CFO, and BU leaders to drive value and accountability.

You will guide investment prioritization, enhance processes and tools, and champion AI and automation to scale finance across the division.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of experience in finance, FP&A, or related roles.
Experience leading and developing professional-level employees.
Proven ability to partner with executives and influence decisions.
Strong skills in financial planning, forecasting, and investment evaluation.

Responsibilities

Partner with business leaders to develop governance, performance frameworks, and accountability.
Support annual Budget, strategic planning, and quarterly forecasting for the LR Division, including full P&L and cash flow.
Develop deep understanding of divisional businesses, drivers, and value levers to identify risks and opportunities.
Translate complex financial information into clear insights, recommendations, and actions for senior leadership.
Lead initiatives to improve management reporting, analytics capabilities, processes, systems, and tools.
Build and coach a high-performing team of financial professionals while maintaining hands-on analysis when needed.
