Tokamak Energy Ltd. is seeking a Finance Business Partner to lead contract accounting and financial management for a major government-funded contract. You will own contract income, revenue recognition, and associated controls while partnering with programme leaders to deliver insightful financial analysis.

In this role you will drive budgeting, forecasting, KPI reporting and process improvement, building a robust framework to support future contract delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified accountant
• Strong experience in contract accounting and revenue recognition
• Experience of grant accounting and government-funded or public sector contracts
• Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of complex problems
• Strong finance business partnering experience with non-finance stakeholders
• Experience implementing processes, controls and ways of working from the ground up
• Excellent communication and influencing skills

Responsabilités

• Contract Accounting & Financial Management: manage income, R&D expenditure, revenue recognition, milestones, assets/liabilities
• Finance Business Partnering: support programme leaders with financial insight and decision-making
• Planning, Reporting & Analysis: assist budgeting/forecasting, KPIs, cash flow
• Process Improvement & Controls: design robust processes and policies, enable audit-readiness
