Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Finance Business Partner Senior Analyst to support delivery teams and government contracts. You will manage end-to-end project financials and forecasting to strengthen contract execution and financial outcomes.

You will partner with Delivery, PMO, Contract Management, and Controllership to ensure financial integrity, reporting quality, and data-driven decision support for improved program health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field.
• 1–2 years in financial analysis, program finance, or federal contracting finance.
• Experience with financial forecasting, variance analysis, and project-level reporting.
• Familiarity with U.S. GAAP and federal compliance considerations.
• Strong analytical ability and data-driven decision making.
• Proficient with Excel or equivalent analytic tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead contract-level forecasting activities and present results to leadership.
• Review monthly results for cost postings, revenue recognition, and GAAP compliance.
• Manage working capital balances through unbilled reviews and invoicing tracking.
• Maintain high-quality financial records including bookings, accruals, and journals.
• Provide financial insights to delivery leads highlighting risks and opportunities.
• Coordinate with PMO, Delivery, and Controllership for reporting efficiency.
• Support client invoicing deliverables and contractual reporting.
• Serve as finance preparer for project setup in systems under thresholds.
