Job summary

St. Louis Children’s Hospital is seeking a finance professional to provide financial reports, analysis and consultation to support the department’s financial management, budgeting and cost-control efforts.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Business/related.
• Experience: <2 years.
• Master's Degree in Accounting/Business/related.
• Experience: 2-5 years.
• Supervisor Experience: No Experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: hires, trains, assigns work, manages & evaluates performance, conducts professional development plans. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.
• Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets. Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.
• Manages the various operational and capital budget processes, including monitoring subsequent actual costs against the budgets, for both non-clinical and clinical areas, as applicable.
• Provides financial reports, analysis and consultation to support the financial management of the department.
• Works with IS to identify computer hardware and software needs in support of the department.
