Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Finance Manager in the Worldwide Returns & ReCommerce (WWRR) Finance team to influence strategic decisions across business, technology, and finance units. You will partner with senior leaders, build robust financial models, and guide reporting to drive cost reductions and scalable solutions.

You will lead cross-functional initiatives, communicate clearly with executives, and own a product supporting an S-Team objective reviewed by the CEO quarterly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field
• 5+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience
• 5+ years of leading cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience
• 5+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience

Responsibilities

• Use solid financial knowledge and business acumen to build financial models, interpret data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations that deliver results, drive improvements, and influence leaders throughout Amazon
• Uses SQL, financial systems and advanced MS Excel functions to work with large data sets, outputs plans, forecasts, budgets, and consolidations
• Manages roadmap for product and prioritizes feature development based on impact
• Creates effective business partnerships, manages competing priorities, and provides guidance based on data analysis during unexpected events
• Uses active listening skills intuitively to communicate data in a clear, concise, and unambiguous manner
• Collects and analyzes quantitative data to develop relevant reports that drive cost reductions
• Participates in hiring, developing, and mentoring peers and team members
• Identifies opportunities to resolve defects proactively and improves finance tools across teams
• Contributes to work life harmony by being a positive, collaborative influencer to new team members
