Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting is required.

Responsibilities

• Timely and accurate monthly/quarterly financial statements; budget guidance to management.
• Stay current on Head Start fiscal standards and related regulations; implement them.
• Analyze program spending; coordinate with Program Director/Managers on budgeting and spending issues.
• Develop and educate leadership to improve financial planning and monitoring.
• Design and document accounting policies and internal controls for integrated reporting.
