Job summary

Anthropic seeks a Strategic Finance leader to manage the machines finance function for chips and accelerators. You will partner with hardware infrastructure teams, guiding financial decisions and owning forecasts, ROI analyses, and the overall hardware P&L across time.

You will lead a small finance team, integrate with FP&A and Accounting, and ensure accurate inputs for close cycles while supporting strategic hardware choices for the company.

Responsibilities

• Own the economics of chip and accelerator capacity, including cost per chip-hour and total cost of ownership.
• Evaluate capacity offers with the Compute deal team and price across chip types and structures.
• Partner with Capacity Planning and Hardware Engineering on financial analyses.
• Own hardware forecast: delivery volumes, expenses, and cash flows.
• Build and manage the Machines finance team and align with FP&A and Accounting.
• Coordinate with Accounting, Treasury, and Infra FP&A on forecast inputs.
