Job summary

Anthropic, a leading AI safety research lab, seeks a Machines FP&A Lead to own the hardware forecasting, budgeting, and cash-flow management for chips and accelerators. You will partner with Capacity Planning, the Compute deal team, Accounting and the consolidated FP&A group.

You will drive forecast accuracy, manage leases and long-term agreements, and build reporting to keep leadership informed of machine spend. This is a hybrid, SF-based role with visa sponsorship available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a field relevant to finance or business.
• MBA or CFA is a plus.
• Experience forecasting hardware spend and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Own hardware forecast, lease and financing expense, and cash flows.
• Run budget vs. actuals for machine spend and provide variance explanations.
• Be the single finance contact for machines with Accounting and FP&A.
• Coordinate inputs with Capacity Planning and the Compute deal team.
• Track spend and cash-flow against multi-year hardware commitments.
