Job summary

Jerry is expanding into new markets and seeks a Strategic Finance Manager to own the operating model and planning cadence. You will partner with functional leaders, drive the budget cycle, and deliver narratives for the CFO and founders. You will also evaluate new opportunities and lead variance analysis to inform decisions.

You will work with the CFO, VP of Finance, and the founders to ensure rigorous financial planning and reporting in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate high accuracy under tight deadlines.
• Ability to ask the right questions and focus on impactful analyses.
• Direct communicator who can present insights to executives.

Responsibilities

• Own driver-based operating model and planning cadence for the base business and new lines.
• Run annual budget and long-range planning end-to-end with stakeholders.
• Own monthly/quarterly forecast cycle, variance analysis, and narrative writing.
• Lead monthly business reviews and translate numbers into decisions.
• Evaluate planning system options and drive rollout.
• Build financial models for new opportunities and partnerships.
• Monitor unit economics and CAC/payback, retention and LTV.
• Support corporate development through diligence and transaction analysis.
• Frame build/buy/partner decisions with clear return profiles.
