Job summary

Jerry.ai is hiring a Strategic Finance Manager to own the operating model, planning cadence, and spend discipline. You will partner with leaders, CFO, and founders to build scalable financial processes and provide executive-ready insights.

You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning, and you will model new products, channels, and partnerships while keeping a strong focus on unit economics and diligence readiness.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience in finance/FP&A or related roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or a similarly quantitative field.
• Strong financial modeling skills including driver-based models and three-statement mechanics.
• Experience with unit economics in consumer/marketplace contexts (CAC, LTV, payback, retention).
• Ability to translate complex analysis into a clear executive narrative.
• Startup/high-growth experience preferred with built-from-scratch financial processes.
• Hands-on fluency with AI tools for analysis and workflow automation.

Responsibilities

• Own the operating model and forecast cycle end-to-end.
• Run annual budget and long-range planning with stakeholder input.
• Manage monthly/quarterly forecast cycle and variance analysis.
• Write executive narratives for leadership and board.
• Lead monthly business reviews with cross-functional leaders.
• Evaluate and implement a planning system rollout.
• Build financial models for new products, verticals, channels, or partnerships.
• Monitor unit economics (CAC, LTV, payback, churn) and report findings.
• Support corporate development through diligence and transaction analysis.
• Frame build/buy/partner decisions with rigorous analysis.
• Underwrite vendor spend and advise on terms.
