Job summary

Halliburton in Houston seeks an experienced finance leader with an MBA and a strong track record in corporate finance, strategy, and analytics. The role partners with the CEO and CFO to prepare strategy materials and presents insights to the executive team.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in finance or accounting, 2+ years post-MBA in management consulting or investment banking, and excels in Excel-based financial modeling and high-impact PowerPoint presentations. Oil & gas exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

8+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, including demonstrated management experience.
2+ years of post-MBA experience in management consulting or investment banking.
MBA from a top-tier business school preferred.
Oil & gas industry experience is a plus but not required.
Strong written and verbal communication, with ability to collaborate across a large organization.

Responsibilities

Provide analytical and research support to executive leadership for investor, Board, and executive committee meetings.
Translate analyses into clear, actionable conclusions for a C-Suite audience.
Monitor macro conditions and industry trends; develop strategic recommendations.
Collaborate with CEO and CFO on annual strategy materials and content.
Work with FP&A, Investor Relations, Treasury, Tax, and Accounting on strategic projects.
Develop long-term financial forecasts and scenario analyses for decision-making.
Provide analytics & insights for critical organizational initiatives.
Design models and automate analyses to improve efficiency and accuracy.
