Job summary

V2X is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee all accounting and finance functions for a program portfolio. The role leads a finance team, ensuring accurate reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis within a DoD-focused environment.

The position requires seven years of experience, a Bachelor’s in accounting/finance, and preferably an MBA or CPA. U.S. citizenship is required, with GAAP/FAR/SOX compliance oversight and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; MBA and/or CPA strongly preferred.
• Seven (7) years of experience in all areas of accounting and finance.
• Experience in DoD or BOS contracts or in support of a federal contract.
• US citizenship required.
• Supervisory/budget responsibilities for a finance staff and overall budget.
• Expert-level knowledge of automated financial systems and Excel.
• Ability to provide internal training and workflow delegation within the department.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Finance Manager and responsible for all functions related to accounting and finance on a portfolio of programs.
• Supervises the overall financial services and accounting tasks to provide accurate, timely, and reliable services and reports.
• Develops strategic business plans and forecasts; monitors actual vs. budget/forecast, ensuring financial statements reflect financial position.
• Review financial procedures to ensure GAAP, FAR, CAS and SOX compliance.
• Interfaces with internal and external auditors.
• Other duties: consult with senior management, develop financial controls, perform financial reviews, monitor performance metrics.
