Job summary

Subsurface Energy Resources is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee budgeting, treasury, payroll, tax filings, and financial reporting. You will lead planning efforts, manage a team, and partner with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance.

The role requires 3–5 years of financial management experience, solid Excel skills, and a strong understanding of accounting principles. On-site work in Sandy, UT is expected, with opportunities for process improvement and automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Honors degree in Accounting.
• 3-5 years financial managerial experience, managing finance and operational staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.
• Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll functions.
• Prepare sales and use tax filings.
• Close out month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management.
• Develop financial models for project and overhead analysis.
