Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the team responsible for budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and management reporting within Finance Strategy and Operations. The role includes supervising staff, coordinating daily activities, and ensuring accurate financial closes and reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) with 3–5 years in relevant financial roles, strong leadership, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 3–5 years of relevant experience
• Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, and rewarding performance
• Ability to guide exchange of sensitive information, convey performance expectations and handle problems
• Leadership skills to motivate team and improve quality, efficiency, and effectiveness
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset
• Intermediate math skills for percentages, fractions, and financial calculations

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees, monitor training and development, conduct performance evaluations and coaching, oversee recruiting/hiring
• Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities, set schedules, assign tasks, cross-train staff, track deadlines
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and standard reporting
• Review balance sheet analysis, cash flows, schedules, and consolidated reporting packs for accuracy
• Review and approve basic monthly journal entries
• Produce routine and ad hoc financial reports and pro forma analyses for senior management
• Coordinate research, development, and preparation of accounting policy/procedures
• Explain difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle sensitive issues
• Influence parties of shared interests to reach agreements
• Lead by example and model CBRE RISE values, influencing stakeholders to consensus
• Apply knowledge of own discipline to achieve team objectives
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues
