Job summary

Vaco Recruiter Services seeks a strategic Chief Financial Officer for a PE-backed specialty manufacturer in Long Island, NY. The role leads financial strategy, multi-site cost control, and scalable ERP deployment with Dynamics BC.

Relocation assistance is provided. You will partner with the CEO and PE sponsors, oversee budgeting, reporting, and treasury, and drive profitability across channels and geographies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required; MBA/CPA/CFA strongly preferred.
• 10+ years of financial leadership with 5+ years in a senior executive role.
• Experience in Manufacturing, Food & Beverage, CPG, or FMCG sectors.
• Private Equity-backed environment experience and sponsor reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial strategy, operations, and long-term planning.
• Oversee GAAP-compliant accounting, audits, and disclosures.
• Manage multi-site cost accounting, working capital, and treasury.
• Drive ERP optimization and scalable systems (MS Dynamics BC).
• Support M&A, capital structure, and strategic investments.
