Job summary

Southwest General Health Center is seeking an Executive Director of Finance to guide financial strategy and fiscal operations for a $500M+ health system. This leadership role oversees accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, tax compliance, capital planning, and payroll, integrating financial stewardship with data-driven operational excellence.

The ideal candidate has at least 10 years in healthcare finance, with 5+ years in leadership, plus proficiency in Strata, Infor Lawson, ADP Workforce

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; MBA preferred.
10+ years healthcare finance experience, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
Proven ability to lead large cross-functional teams including finance, engineering, and performance improvement.
Expertise in financial reporting, strategic planning, operating/capital budgeting, and healthcare decision support.

Responsibilities

Direct financial strategy and fiscal operations for a $500M+ health system.
Oversee accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, tax compliance, capital planning, and payroll.
Lead system-wide performance improvement and cost containment initiatives across departments.
Coordinate capital planning, ROI tracking, and service line reporting.
Partner with clinical and administrative leadership to build financial acumen across the organization.
