Job summary

Meso Scale Diagnostics (MSD) is seeking a senior finance executive to lead global accounting, financial reporting, audit, debt compliance, insurance and treasury functions. You will report to the CFO and collaborate with the VP of Financial Operations to deliver timely, data-driven insights that align with growth strategies.

The role requires extensive experience in finance leadership, strong GAAP knowledge, and proven ability to build and mentor high-performing teams in a manufacturing/life

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related field required.
• Master’s Degree or MBA preferred.
• Minimum of fifteen years of senior finance management experience with responsibility for accounting, financial reporting and insurance.
• Minimum of five years of experience building and supervising highly productive accounting teams.
• Experience with financial management systems/software.
• Experience in manufacturing or life sciences preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with CFO and VP of Financial Operations to support financial execution.
• Provide strategic leadership to accounting, reporting, audit, debt and treasury functions.
• Ensure internal controls, compliance, audit readiness and risk management.
• Direct preparation of financial statements and audits.
• Oversee and maintain finance policies and procedures.
• Monitor debt covenant compliance and liabilities.
• Manage cash and insurance programs.
• Develop and mentor finance staff.
