Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a Financial Business Specialist to direct, lead, and manage all fiscal affairs for Division(s) within the Department of Surgery under the Administrator's guidance. You will direct the financial/operational processing environment and ensure adherence to internal controls and policies.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with 4 years of relevant experience required and 4-8 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct, lead and manage all fiscal affairs for Division(s) within the Department of Surgery under the direction of the Administrator.

• Ensures adherence to internal control structures and compliance with fiscal policies, procedures and regulations.
• Participates in short-term and long-term strategic planning for division(s) and clinical practice groups.
• Develops and implements long-term financial plans and objectives.
