Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience leading finance in a credit union or community banking setting.
• Strong financial leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proven track record in GAAP compliance, regulatory reporting, and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the Accounting department and team.
• Oversee GAAP-compliant financial statements, regulatory reports, and tax filings.
• Lead month-end close, GL reconciliations, and policy improvement.
• Monitor liquidity and manage investment portfolio per policy.
• Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and ALM reporting.
• Maintain internal controls and work with auditors/regulators.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify financial opportunities and risks.
• Translate changing accounting standards into policies and practices.
• Identify opportunities to boost operational efficiency and growth.
• Present results and strategic recommendations to the CFO, Board, and regulators.
