Job summary

Granola is seeking our first Strategic Finance hire to build the financial operating rhythm for the company’s next growth stage. You will own core financial planning, analysis and strategic decision support, partnering with leaders to understand drivers of performance and guide investment choices.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in Strategic Finance, FP&A, Corporate Finance or similar roles.
• Experience owning financial models, forecasting and planning processes in a high-growth technology company.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills; able to structure and solve ambiguous problems.
• Experience partnering with functional and executive leaders and turning analysis into recommendations.
• Strong understanding of SaaS business models and operating metrics that drive growth and unit economics.
• Track record of taking ambiguous strategic questions through to structured analysis and actions.

Responsibilities

• Own our company model and forecasting; connect revenue, headcount, OPEX, gross margin and cash.
• Lead company planning; translate operating plans into financial outcomes and allocate resources.
• Partner with leaders on budgets, forecasts, and performance; derive actionable insights.
• Deepen understanding of unit economics: gross margin, CAC, retention, sales efficiency.
• Build scenarios to evaluate investments, pricing, headcount and other key decisions.
• Establish models, processes and cadences to make Finance a stronger strategic partner as Granola scales.
