Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst in Minneapolis to provide strategic finance leadership for the Asset Management & Institutional Investments business. You will partner with leaders to forecast performance, analyze profitability, and deliver actionable insights to support long-term financial objectives.

The role requires strong Excel/ETL skills, experience with Essbase/Hyperion and SQL, plus 5+ years in financial analysis. MBA preferred; on-site work three days a week is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent work experience.
• Typically five or more years of related experience in financial analysis activities.
• Experience with Essbase/Hyperion and SQL would be a bonus.
• MBA is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis for investment management revenue and expenses.
• Conduct product profitability and trend analysis, linking financial performance to drivers.
• Partner with business leaders on strategic initiatives, growth opportunities, and business cases that drive revenue and profitability.
• Develop financial models and scenario analyses to evaluate business performance and changing conditions.
