Job summary

CFS is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to serve as the strategic finance lead for an assigned business unit, acting as a trusted advisor to operations and commercial leaders in shaping growth and profitability.

You will own forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning, develop robust financial models, and deliver executive-level insights to inform investment decisions and strategic initiatives. This hybrid role is based near Bloomington, MN.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 3+ years FP&A, strategic finance, or related analytical role.
• Advanced financial modelling, forecasting, and business case development.

Responsibilities

• Lead forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning activities for an assigned business unit.
• Partner with business leaders to evaluate performance, identify risks and opportunities, and support strategic decision-making.
• Develop financial models and scenario analyses to assess growth initiatives, pricing strategies, capital investments, and resource allocation decisions.
• Drive monthly and quarterly business reviews, providing actionable insights on revenue, profitability, operating expenses, and key performance indicators.
• Conduct profitability analyses across customers, products, channels, and business segments.
• Evaluate business cases and return-on-investment analyses for strategic projects and investments.
• Deliver executive-level reporting and recommendations to business unit leadership and finance executives.
• Support the development and execution of initiatives that improve revenue growth, margin expansion, and operational performance.

The Senior Financial Analyst serves as the strategic finance lead for an assigned business unit, functioning as a "mini-CFO" and trusted advisor to operational and commercial leaders. This role partners closely with business leadership to drive growth, profitability, and investment decisions through financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic planning. They will own financial performance insights, challenge assumptions, and help translate business objectives into measurable financial outcomes.

Compensation: $115,000-$130,000 base salary

Location: Hybrid near Bloomington, MN
