Job summary

Uber's Strategic Finance team offers an internship based in our San Francisco headquarters. You will contribute to financial planning, forecasting, and analysis for Uber’s global operations, applying business judgment to guide decisions on new initiatives and products.

During the summer program, you’ll build and refine financial models, learn about Uber’s Finance Development Program, and gain exposure to career paths within Finance. Strong analytical skills and initiative are essential.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in BS/BA program in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a similar field (graduation date Winter 2027 / Spring 2028)
• Basic knowledge of GAAP and experience with Excel
• Minimum 1 year of involvement in extracurricular groups, activities, or internship opportunities

Responsibilities

• Financial Planning: participate in forecasting, reporting, and analysis for Uber’s global business
• Strategic Thinking: apply financial insights to support decision making on new initiatives, products, and opportunities
• Financial Modeling: build and improve complex financial models
• Operational Excellence: lead initiatives to scale from startup to enterprise
