Job summary

Michels Corporation is seeking a Vice President of Finance & Business Performance to lead financial strategy and drive profitability across a complex, project-based business. You will partner with the executive team to translate strategy into measurable results, oversee forecasting and capital allocation, and guide growth initiatives with rigorous financial analysis.

The role requires a senior leader who can influence decisions, manage risk, and build a high-performing finance organization

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
• Progressive finance leadership experience in operationally focused businesses.
• Experience partnering with senior operational executives in project-based industries.
• Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning and capital allocation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic financial partner to the Business Group President and leadership team.
• Lead financial planning and business performance management, including budgeting, forecasting, KPI monitoring, and cash flow management.
• Evaluate investments, acquisitions, expansion opportunities, and major decisions with financial models and ROI analyses.
• Provide financial leadership, controls, risk management, and development of a high-performing finance team.
