Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business; SC SBFO or SC Government Finance Officers certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in local government finance or related accounting roles.
• Extensive knowledge of governmental accounting, auditing, and budgeting practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting systems; ability to analyze financial data.

Responsibilities

• Oversee district budget preparation, administration, and reporting.
• Monitor funds, accounts and balances to ensure accuracy and adherence to budget.
• Provide financial information and projections to School Board, Superintendent and staff.
• Maintain strong internal controls and supervise accounting staff.
