Job summary

Bluejack Builders is seeking a Director of Finance to lead financial operations for two homebuilding locations and partner with the CFO to steer profitability, cash flow, and project costs from development through completion.

The role requires extensive construction accounting experience, strong FP&A, and a hands‑on approach to internal controls, budgeting, and strategic decision support for leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field required.
• 8+ years of accounting and finance experience in construction/homebuilding.
• GAAP knowledge and internal controls.
• Experience with ERP and financial reporting systems.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial management and reporting for two homebuilding locations.
• Lead monthly close processes and ensure statements are complete and timely.
• Provide FP&A analyses, forecasts, and variance explanations for leadership.
• Maintain general ledger integrity, job costing, and financial reporting accuracy.
• Develop detailed cash flow forecasts and monitor liquidity and working capital.
