Job summary

Gun Lake Casino Resort seeks a Director of Finance to lead the Finance Department, partnering with the VP of Finance & Administration to drive financial strategy, budgeting, and governance. The role ensures accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and compliance with all regulatory standards while guiding high-performing teams through change and growth.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in finance with 5+ years in leadership, plus experience in gaming/hospitality and familiarity with casino

Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
CPA and/or MBA preferred.
Minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in Finance or Accounting.
Minimum of five (5) years of leadership experience in a Finance or Accounting management role.
Experience in gaming and hospitality environment preferred.
Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, budgeting, forecasting, and regulatory compliance.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and casino management systems (IGT Advantage, InfoGenesis).

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day operations of the Finance Department.
Develop and monitor annual operating and capital budgets.
Provide timely, accurate financial reports and analyses to executives.
Maintain strong internal controls and compliance with regulatory standards.
Collaborate with property leaders to drive financial performance and strategic decisions.
Support audits and manage relationships with auditors and regulators.
